The "Lalumias" are at it again...never mind trying to pronounce that last name, unless you've lived in the Kaufman area for while. The Lalumia family name is like a household word here.
You can just call us by our first names, Sam, Debra and Sonny. Together we have a combined total of over 40 years in the food service, hospitality and restaurant business. In fact, we still operate a restaurant in Kaufman, called "Wings".
Kaufman has been such a wonderful town to us, that when we heard talk of re-vitalizing the town square, we jumped on the first opportunity to be a part of it.
What is now Maples Hall, located at the corner of Washington and Grove Streets on the square, was the "Scott Pharmacy" building for over 70 years. Prior to that it had been the "Citizens National Bank" building from 1891 until 1933.
The building had undergone several renovations and face lifts during that time.
Our "de-renovation" of Maples Hall has restored it to the natural beauty and we now offer Maples Hall as an elegant event facility ready for parties!
Let our experience and love of serving others, along with our truly unique Maples Hall, host your next life celebration!
"Take a step back in time...take a step back into elegance...take a step into your next event at Maples Hall!

This has become a much sought after event by many in the community.
For the past 2 years it was held at "Wings". This year, with the completion of Maples Hall, we were able to have it here.
With a theme of "Come to the Ball", it was an enchanting evening for both Dads and Daughters.
Don't miss this event! Next year's date has been set for none other than..."VALENTINE'S DAY"; Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009.
Be sure and mark your calendars!
